Hampshire Sport Conference 2025

The Hampshire Sport Conference this year focused on sustainability and forward thinking, and explored innovative solutions to the challenges clubs face today, with guidance on building resilient, future-ready organisations.

Organised by Eastleigh Borough Council, in partnership with Test Valley Borough Council, and held at the fabulous Test Valley sports facility – Ganger Farm Romsey, the evening was designed to empower local sports clubs with the tools, insights, and connections needed to grow and develop, presented by an excellent team of knowledgeable speakers.

Key themes included getting clubs ready for investment support, marketing and communication tools to put in place, the support available from UK Coaching across all sports, and an introduction to safeguarding.

Copies of all four presentations are available to download here from the Sport Winchester Website – with thanks to the Organisers and Presenters.

The Ganger Farm sports hub facility was an excellent venue to choose, as it is a beacon example of a good multi-sport facility, with community space, extensive pitches and all weather surfaces, and excellent parking capacity for all users including visiting teams. Test Valley Council must justifiably be very proud of this excellent facility - https://youtu.be/w_tNgjwxPB0 .
