New Football & Education Academy at Winchester FC

Winchester City FC are breaking new ground with the creation of their new Football & Education Academy. This is a unique collaboration between Winchester City Football Club, the University of Winchester, and Jupiter Training, delivering a programme aimed at 16-19 year old players to develop both footballing ambitions and academic development. Interested people can find out more at an open day at the Charters stadium on 4th December.

As Sport England recognises, the important social and financial value that Sport can deliver to both individuals and the community, should be fully supported and invested in by the wider community, to create a fit future for all. This initiative behind this excellent programme should be applauded.
